Recap and Restart

Wow, its been a hot minute huh?
I got re-inspired to write in this blog by Sammy's two bottom teeth, which have slowly been coming in over the past month or so. Also, a visit from mom. Talking about all of the babies developments as well as Liam's and how i have not created a baby book like i did in Liam's first year. So many everyday moments and memories and i dont want to forget! Life goes by so quickly these days.
The teeth are peeking through now, and you can see them when Sam gives a big, whole face smile.
Sounds cute doesn't it? Well it is but it isnt. The kid refuses to sleep through the night , and has been fussy times ten since he began teething.  He's lucky hes so darn adorable.

Daisy is also teething, although, nothing poking through yet. She has been sleeping all night and sleeps long and hard during her naps too, for a few months now. Not sure if Sam will ever be as good a sleeper as she, but heres to hoping he'll change his tune. Soon!

Sam has been ALMOST crawling for a few weeks now. He likes to pop up in a sort of down dog position, and then wobble and wiggle trying to move his feet forward and back, while his little arms stay planted. This makes for some hard landing face plants, but he is getting better at working his was back to his knees, then belly.

Sam can roll from belly to back and back to belly. He is a squirmy little thing. He loves being held up to stand and his little feet still go out to the sides like a ballerina doing a plie. We asked Dr. Whipple to make sure he didn't have any foot problems but Doc said everything is fine and normal, he is just a little bowlegged. Daisy is as well but its hard to see since her legs are so fat. haha
Doc explained that sometimes when a baby has little room to grow (such as in the case of multiples) that their little limbs will bow and will slowly straighten out after birth. The interesting things you learn and go through with multiples pregnancy and parenting.
Sammy is such a talker, and loves anything with a face. His smile will melt your heart. His pretty little eyes twinkle and his little cheeks perk up. He loves being tickled and cuddles and loved on. Isnt the biggest fan of eating, since birth, but i am working on fattening him up still. He is however, currently trying to work those toes and feet to his mouth. Sams hair is a wispy light brown , with his own unique 'do. Its long on top and the sides, just be his ears. the rest is short! He is channeling his inner most Einstein i say.

Daisy. Oh Daisy. :) Such a pretty thing, chunky, with legs like hamhocks and a ghetto booty that she got from i am not sure which sideof the family?

Her hair  is black and she is sporting a natural faux hawk, which is curly and wavey, especially right after a bath. Her eyes are perfect little almonds, and have an almost Japanese look to them. Rolls galore! arms, legs, tummy, you name it, it has a roll. fat cheeks little nose perfect mouth. Thank goodness she will have brothers and daddy to keep those boys away!! haha
Daisy just recently started to pop up on her knees at times but prefers to get around doing a belly crawl. She can scooch all the way across the room that way if you let her and can maneuver 360 all the way around to get to whatever shes got her eyes on.
Miss Daisy isn't as vocal as her twin brother but she will get into tangents of babbling , using after bath or during a diaper change or when you holding her. She prefers a more personal one on one chit chat.

Its funny how they have switched, from Daisy being the fussy one in the beginning to now Sammy being theo ne giving us fits. I wonder when the next switcharoo will take place and what it will bring...

Liam is just a happy little monkey-roo. Climbing whatever he can climb and jumping whenever he can jump instead of waling. He loves water and swings and playgrounds and running. And wrestling and tickling and snuggling and his paci's. And and and.  He is finally starting to take an interst in talking. Maybe, I hope. He is sometimes repeating mama, and happy which sounds like Ap-py. He says up when we play the up down game. He also loves the alligator/row row row your boat game and chugga chugga choo  choo which are all games incorporated by his therapist, Jill. Jill is his speech therapist and Ginger, who is new, will be providing some OT. Liam is coming along just fine and we are confident this extra "help" will be the boost he needs to get some of these developmental delays caught up and going.
Liam is th elight of my life and the reason we are now, a family. His hugs are therapy to my soul. His laugh can cure any bad mood. I love my little Liam.

Well, I will be posting more often now that I have a little bit more time throughout the day. Off i go now, must mop and get some laundry done.

Love and Light!
