A little static hairdo action.
Daisy was a bit weary about the whole trampoline and jumping thing...

Master jumper in his element.
Huddle.
In the wake of the horrific tragedy in Connecticut, I just wanted to take a moment and say that my heart breaks and goes out to all of the families affected.
Prayers abound.
Dont take single day with your loved ones for granted.

Its that time of the year.....yummmmmmmmm.

I will be posting a Favorite Recipes Blog entry on our family Christmas treats and cookie and traditions in the next day or so. Gotta share the deliciousness!

One of the many pluses of having my sister living with us, is that we have someone to stay with kiddos if we want to go out on a date!
We finally took advantage of this and last weekend Jason surprised me with an invite to go out to dinner.

I literally had to wipe the dust off the heels i picked to go out in that night.
Shameful!
(Note to self- Must rock stilettos more often)

I love love love getting dolled up. Slipping on my super high, super skinny black heels always gives me that extra dose of saucy-ness that you just cant seem to find in the day-to-day of diapers, yo gabba gabba, crayons, coloring books and bottles. Ya know?

While i was getting ready, i thought about it and the last time we had been out on a date was in February for our anniversary. Sheesh. Almost a whole year.

It is so easy to let a marriage get lost in the whirlwind of caring for 3 kids 3 years and under. Especially this   past first year with the twins and all that has gone on with our little Liam.
We have been so focused on taking care of our birds and putting so much effort in to that, that the year has left us exhausted and with no energy to put anything extra into ....well, us.

Maintaining a happy healthy marriage should be priority number one. It can be so easy to lose sight of that, and of each other!
Everything else will just fall in to place naturally, because a happy Mommy and Daddy= a happy family.
Change is just part of being in a long term relationship, and you have to start somewhere. Good thing is that everyday brings the opportunity for a new beginning!

We have been driving past this Chinese/Thai restaurant since moving here, so we decided to finally go and check it out. It reminded me of the old school, sit down Chinese restaurants that i would go to with my family growing up. The food was so so good. The service was excellent. There wasn't a lot of people there so we had a whole section to ourselves which was nice. After we ate, the waitress brought us a big huge bowl of green tea and orange ice cream with a cherry on top, compliments of the house.
Yum.
Oh?
...You dont say..... ;)

We had such a good time!
I guess we have been so busy ,and i didnt even notice but...I realized that night i had really missed...us.

:)

Love and light,
A

(Ho!) I've been trying to do it right

(Ho!) I don't know where I belong
(Hey!) I don't know where I went wrong
(Ho!) But I can write a song (Hey!)
1,2,3 I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweet (Ho!)

1,2,3 I belong with you you belong with me you're my sweet heart
I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweet heart
And love we need is now

RIP Madison (Maddie)
Maddie was a smart, sweet, and very loving human, posing as a dog.
She was part of the family and our hearts ache over her loss.
Madison was very loved by all of us and will be very missed!
